AmberGlassA Story by Jesse Landry
How about another taste of amberglass? Come with me, lets disappear for a while. So fragile next to these dead titans, what am i to these giants? Just a toy, another piece. All i can do is stare as these misplaced gods gamble with human lives, snorting lines of creation off the a*s of a solar system. A drop of human soul on the sugar cube of the “afterlife” mixed with the amber and you ready to go, or so they say. The amber is fausts favorite, distilled godly essence. He bleeds himself daily in order to have whats needed to distill thd amber, two slits along the forearm. Their blood is crystalline and dark, amber but almost not. Black as pitch, with little light as was predetermined millenia ago when they created this place for themselves. A little hidey hole in the attic of our universe, a sideways backdoor you have to look at from a diffrent angle as you sidestep into another world. A world of their creation, a gossamer web so intricately spun you have to stop and admire it. A web spun so sweetly a perfect lure if one were that foolish. A place where time is just a cruel joke and your left wanting more, one could get lost in such a place. He says “f**k it” and grabs the shot of amber…. The sugar cube ready and waiting, all it needs now is fire. He snaps his fingers and the friction burns hot enough to spark. Now to direct it towards the cube, he snaps again hoping the cube lights and as it does i stir in the cube. All or nothing, here it goes. it goes down like ice water, freezing. Exquisite and beautiful, the rush. So intoxicating you wanna drown in it, like nothing youve ever experienced. You just witnessed the big bang, understood that we were a part of creation. You got a breif glimpse of just how powerful thess titans were as you lean forward and pour yourself a double this time, down it goes as you disappear.
