Possession

Possession

A Poem by Jesse Landry
"

As if possessed, this tells the story of a soul split in half and both sides want something diffetnt..

"
Im at a loss for words, i dont know what to say
try and swallow my fear, to keep the demon at bay
this devil is a tricky one and the demon gets his way
Raining fire and brimstone on a perfect day
all i can do is sit here watching it decay

An ethereal possession, darkness grabs the reins
Backseat in my own skull, have i gone insane
All that i can do right now is enjoy this tailored pain
But Sometimes my demon likes to steal my brain
Scar tissue and shallow wounds are all that remain

Buried deep and all alone, with no money for the toll
All you see is me ablaze in a wash of inner turmoil
I just want to feel again so that i can bear my soul
Picking up the pieces destruction i cant control
I think i need assistance here so that i feel whole

Standing in the wreckage, a total utter disgrace
With a little help we rebuild theres potential in this place
Encase the demon and lock it up, hurl it into space
with the darkness gone we can now pick up the pace
Searching for the pieces but the darkness left no trace
