Three Birds, One Love

Three Birds, One Love

A Poem by __Thom

My shattered heart is only remnants of pathetic love,
But i know my heart is an aesthetic cove,
At first glance I'm a crow,
Second glance a raven,
Third glance a dove.
I feel low but my soul is blazing with a desire for love,
But there's a hole in my heart where crows fly up above,
Legend has it that crows steal fire, and a crow once stole my fire of love,
Once upon a time I was loved with a liar's love,
Which dug a hole in my heart where ravens fly up above,
Ravens are providers and thieves, a raven once supplied and robbed me of my love.
But up above the crows, up above the ravens, flies a dove.
A dove, which can fill holes with innocent, compassionate, faithful, affection and love.
