How the Day WentA Poem by AriRead if it's in your will.I've detested you, I know. For my desires, Have become pitied.
The world has become mad, So am I.
Enraged and engrossed, My path has been disfigured.
Intensely disgruntled, Furious with ignorance, I have to withdraw....
Before I split in two. Before the disease, I was once immune, Becomes my abomination.
I've been mistaken, For an open mouth.
When in reality, The Pear of Anguish, Has seized my existence, My right.
Making an O, Between my lips, Is no longer an option for me.
I will always grind my jaw shut, To nothing, Till my teeth, Simply become atoms among atoms.
I am not who I once was, But now an animal, A demon I hate to love.
For I make my thoughts, A reality, Which haunts me most.
So you see, I stay away. I have to.
I know it hurts you, But your imperfections, Make me think of things, Shunned by society.
See if I stay my love, My final enjoyment of you;
To see your eyes grow pale. Knowing, You are now looking at your last thoughts. © 2012 Ari |
