Without AssuranceA Poem by AriThe desire of my heart.
For I am afraid my lord,
Of my own ignorance. Time is key, Yet my key is locked away within my heart. So I wander, Looking in the woods blindly, As demons and brutes, Scowl around my stench of apparent fear. For once more you have touched me, And another once more I burst into diamonds. You travel from a distance, As I leave our dream in its place. But will you come back? Will you comfort me again my love? For I have endured the cold, The vanishing fire you breathe to me. This silence for I have suffered, Aches me dearly. Will you come back to me? Or am I a child chasing after wind? For I do not need your touch, Nor your thoughts or feels or attachment. I need your reality, To be apart of mine. © 2011 Ari |
