"

All good things happen at the wrong time.

"
Me: "Danny boy!!!!!!!!!!!!" He picks me up and hugs me tightly while spinning around.

Now Danny boy is like my best friend that could easily be mistaken as a relationship because we're so close. We've known each other for only 4 years but it feels like 20. I wonder why he's here though.. oh my gosh, it's his birthday, he's now 21.

He made a promise to me that when he turns 21 he'll come and see me in Connet, this is going to be awesome.

Danny: "Abs! How are you, how you been?!" Me: "I've been good, great." Complete lie, I hate when I do this because he can pick up on my lies. Danny: "Take me to your house so we can talk." He totally knows, ugh this is going to be long.

I show him through the house starting with downstairs, then I take him upstairs and show him my room. Danny takes his shoes off and lays on my bed all spread out. Danny: "I know I'm irresistible, but please, don't rape me." He's saying all of this while covering his face and body. I laugh at him and lie down next to him. Danny turns to me. Danny: "Now tell me, how have you REALLY been." My smile fades. I tell him everything, how my ex treated me, to my attempted suicide.

We talk about me for too long so I change the subject on him and he tells me how his girlfriend of four years left him for some guy she barely met at a party. I look at him with deep sympathy. He can feel it within and before I say anything he tells me thank you. We hug.

Danny: "You know, I did my part of the deal, I came out here so now there has to be..."
