Stranger From A Distance

Stranger From A Distance

A Poem by Ari
"

The conclusion of tragedy.

"
Agony deceased,
Anguish diluted,
I feel nothing.
Jealousy,
Contentiousness,
Forever to a halt.
This feeling of closure,
The story coming to an end,
How moderate,
How safe.
For the past has been put to sleep like a new born,
Small, weak, yet pleasing.
For the way I walk,
Is the way I am going,
No need to look back.
The way treated,
The way handled by the once former lover,
Lukewarm,
Hollow.
Look into the eyes and see,
A hint of regret.
Look deeper and see a new beginning,
New light.
Here I lay,
Tears of joy,
Willing,
For the ocean of paradise.
Sweep me off my feet,
Contacting,
Invading my inner temperature,
Oh so lovely.
For a blister formed at the foot of my life,
Here callous lay ,
Forever upon it.
Who you once were,
Are no longer.
I know, feel, believe in a heart,
But cant see from miles away.
Stranger than fiction,
Mystery you are,
Forever how it is to be.
Dead I am to you,
As much as you are to me,
This is how it is suppose to be.
