Death

Death

A Poem by Gregory Hill
"

Dedicated to Nightwish

"

The end has come,

The end of life,

The end of love,

Yet not of strife,

The end of work,

The end of play

The end of joy,

I could not stay,

Our life so sweet,

I was so young,

I left this life,

Untold, unsung,

Where do I go?

From whence I came?

In darkness now,

A smothered flame,

Might there be peace?

Might I find rest?

Could life have been?

Some cruel test?

With my last thought,

I wish you well,

Do not mourn me,

No more farewells.

Dedicated To Nightwish

May He Rest In Peace.

Wow! Beautiful. I wouldn’t change anything. This is exactly how I would wish to be remembered. Thank you for your words.
