"Cursed Poem"

Hello everybody :) My name is Shiro Yukimura. I am a 19 year old girl living in Tokyo, Japan. I have created this blog to record the events that might happen to me. There is a urban legend about this poem called Tomino's Hell by Yomota Inuhiko. The urban legend states that if you read this poem out loud, you will be cursed and misfortune shall befall you. I am sure that this "cursed poem" is nothing but bullshit. Here is the actual poem. ( If you believe in superstition, DO NOT READ THIS POEM OUT LOUD)

トミノの地獄

Tomino’s Hell

姉は血�'吐く、妹は火吐く、

Elder sister vomits blood, younger sister’s breathing fire

可愛いトミノは 宝玉�'吐く。

while sweet little Tomino just spits up the jewels.

�™とり地獄に落ちゆくトミノ、

All alone does Tomino go falling into that hell,

地獄くらやみ花も無き。

a hell of utter darkness, without even flowers.

鞭で叩くはトミノの姉か、

Is Tomino’s big sister the one who whips him?

鞭の朱総が �-にかかる。

The purpose of the scourging hangs dark in his mind.

叩�'や叩きやれ叩かずとても、

Lashing and thrashing him, ah! But never quite shattering.

無�"地獄は�™とつみち。

One sure path to Avici, the eternal hell

�-い地獄へ案内�'たのむ、

Into that blackest of hells guide him now, I pray�"

�'の羊に、鶯に。

to the golden sheep, to the nightingale.

皮の嚢にやいくらほど入れよ、

How much did he put in that leather pouch

無�"地獄の�-��"�度。

to prepare for his trek to the eternal hell?

春が 来て候�-に谿に、

Spring is coming to the valley, to the wood,

�-い地獄谷七�™り。

to the spiraling chasms of the blackest hell.

籠にや鶯、車にや羊、

The nightingale in her cage, the sheep aboard the wagon,

可愛いトミノの眼にや涙。

and tears well up in the eyes of sweet little Tomino.

啼�'よ、鶯、�-の雨に

Sing, o nightingale, in the vast, misty forest�"

妹恋�-と 声かぎり。

he screams he only misses his little sister.

啼�'ば反響が地獄に�™びき、

His wailing desperation echoes throughout hell�"

狐牡丹の花がさく。

a fox peony opens its golden petals.

地獄七山七谿めぐる、

Down past the seven mountains and seven rivers of hell�"

可愛いトミノの�™とり�-�。

the solitary journey of sweet little Tomino.

地獄�"ざらばもて 来てたもれ、

If in this hell they be found, may they then come to me, please,

針の御山の留針�'。

those sharp spikes of punishment from Needle Mountain.

赤い留針だてにはささぬ、

Not just on some empty whim is flesh pierced with blood-red pins,

可愛いトミノのめじる�-に。

they serve as hellish signposts for sweet little Tomino.

私は時�"ほど前に�"の詩�'読�"でいます。それは非常に不�-�'�です。�"れまでのと�"ろは何も私に起�"っていませ�"。明�-�何が起�"るか見てみま�-ょう。 :)

I have read this poem about an hour ago. It's very creepy. So far nothing has happened to me. Let's see what happens tomorrow. :)

Ah, I know this poem. I read it out loud twice, once long ago and again after reading it in your piece. The first time I don't recall anything happening. The second time caused a rainy day. I wonder what the third time will cause...? :o
