Disappointment

Disappointment

A Poem by Tstile

Cool, fresh air kisses my skin,
Soon I know spring begins,
Flowers will grow and trees will bud,
rivers will flow, soon I know the flies will glow.
I open my eyes and am met with surprise,
a frozen hand grabs my heart and unveils this guise.
My short lived dreams have met their demise.
I gaze unto a frozen waste,
crack my spine and cut me with haste,
I wish no more of this dreadful place.
