TO THE GIRL I THOUGHT I ONCE KNEW

Those times where people thought we were weird are beautiful moments I've always held dear. Words I've said only love could have spoken were times that might as well have been broken. I stayed true through thick and thin but then again I never thought that this would be the end. You're in my mind still wearing me thin I wish I could go back to where things begin. I've lost something that can't easily be replaced but through you I've found hope and faith. Times are rough but things are clear. Did you ever really hold on to anything but fear? We've all felt spite at some point in our life but did you ever think about a time where things just felt right? It's true not a word has been spoken and yes my heart is still broken. I thought you'd be my ride or die until one day I found you no longer by my side. Is it people like us that can find something in the few? Or be lost wondering in something we thought we once knew. With pain comes strength I even got that tattooed because life is hard and ya we all know THATS true... Its funny things were always easy when it came to you. Now it's like I'm stuck with nothing to do. There's always plenty of fish all pretty without a clue but what happens when you found one that was happy until it turned blue... I begin to wonder if what you said was ever true. Like that four letter word in the middle of "I love you". I guess above all things without a clue. You're just simply the girl I thought I once knew.

There seems to be a lot of pain in this...something I think we can all relate to; or at least those of us who have chosen to love fiercely. awesome job
