Complicated MathematicsA Poem by NosytThe numbers are there and I know where to start, First I begin with a “<” and a “3” for my heart. I know the integers and where they are inserted, They lead to the way my feelings truly can be worded. You take my feelings for someone I care about, Add a 2 up top to square that amount. Carry the 3 and add 10, Then multiply it by 100 all over again. That large number is then an indicator of something true You come up with the way I feel about you. To do further calculations I take the circumference of my heart, Divide that by 20, then take the reciprocal and split it apart. Take the derivative of that and subtract about 50, And the square root of that microscopic number is the amount of my brain activity, Focused not on you but on me. Last, I take your beauty and slice it in half, And I still get a number too monstrous for my simple math. What I am so unsure about, that it is bringing me to fits, And causing me to re calculate all of my statistics, Is I don’t know the figures to your assessment of the situation, Because how I feel is only half of the equation. © 2012 Nosyt |
