Ghosts

Ghosts

A Poem by Nosyt

My hands continue to hunger for your grip,
My lips still quiver from your kiss,
My arms yearn for your body to hold,
My imagination runs wild and bold.

I can still feel your figures lightly stroking my palm,
Left over feelings from last time, a blissful calm,
Your words in my ear still linger,
Even though it was awhile since they were whispered.

My fingers get tangled in your hair,
As I twirl my fingers through the air,
My heart races from your presence,
Despite being apart, I can still smell your fragrance,

I close my eyes no matter the time or place,
And am constantly haunted by your beautiful face,
I can feel your body press against mine,
Like a ghost you are with me until next time.

This is wonderful! I love how you compare the absence of love to being a ghost.
