This poem turned out pretty good, You can look at it as either the writer is having the time of his life currently, or that the best thing in his life will leave him soon, whatever is your cup of tea!

Only A Matter of Time

It’s only a matter of time until you leave,
But until then I’ll just let it be.
Granting me this time with you is greatly appreciated,
The fact that you will leave me soon is noted and belated.

It is only a matter of time before you go,
But until that happens, I will let you know,
You deserve the best and I am trying to give it,
Hopefully, you find someone else with who, you can officially live it.

It is only a matter of time until you find someone better,
But until then, the best is what I’ll try to offer.
You’ll realize your value and that mine doesn’t match,
For now we will just keep our hands attached.

It’s only a matter of time until he comes along,
But until then we will stick with this bond.
I wish it could last forever, but it is too good to be true,
I won’t tell the next girl this, but I will never find someone better then you.

It’s only a matter of time before you make me cry,
But until then together we will let the time pass us by.
It will be hard to give you up, when it is time,
But I know you will find a better love then mine.

It is only a matter of time until you find what you need,
But until then, together we are freed.
A void in your life that only the right man can fill, with the right diction,
I am just pleased to be your temporary solution.

It’s only a matter of time until you are gone,
But until then, this time with you is keeping me strong.
When you find him, I will be forced to set you free,
