So I Can Finally Sleep

This is a complete remake of a past poem. It is much better but there are a few parts I still feel are a bit awkward to read.

So I Can Finally Sleep

I wanted you as mine,
But you had other plans.
I have strong feelings for you,
You reserve that for another man.

Don’t worry, there's no resentment on my part,
No bitterness, no anger, really, I am fine.
You feel how you feel, its something you can’t help,
How I feel, those feelings are only mine.

Love is a two way street,
I can’t force or tell you how to feel.
So go on, live your life,
I’ll live mine, I’m not missing any meals.

But, everyday, I see you alone,
I dream about how I could be there for you.
I think how much I would give, without asking for return,
All the gifts, all the hugs, and plenty of dinners for two.

Yet you remain without anyone,
You would much rather be alone then test out my love.
You go on dates here and there, but they go nowhere,
  I just stand on the sidelines, almost as if I’m eavesdropping from above.

I wish you would realize,
You deserve so much more.
I wish you would see,
How much you should be adored.

Any man would be blessed to have you as his,
Yet you can’t find one worthy.
I see your finger with out a ring,
And feel my stomach move topsy turvey.

I really just care about you,
I want your life to be filled with happiness.
I want you to find that person,
You can hug and kiss, and all that sappiness.

So please find some one for yourself,
So for you, I do not have to weep.
Find someone who will treat you right and you can grow old with,
Find someone, so I can finally sleep

Stunning and beautifully written! I admire how you accept the way things are and its terribly sad about the state of things and one day she will realize you were there all along. I love the passionate love you wrote about and how deep your feelings went.
