The Girl With no Name.

The Girl With no Name.

A Story by Trusting

The girl with no name sat there on the sidewalk crying. Her eyes red from rubbing them raw. Everyone ignored the girl. She meant nothing to them, her mother's words were so vivid, so harsh. The girl cryed harder, hoping someone would hear her agonizing pleas.
A man who was tall and had a pocket full of money tossed the girl a bottle cap.
Hearing the clink, the girl lifted her head to see the cap. She grabbed it and held it close to her like it was a million dollars.
"How pathetic,"a woman whispered to her husband.
The girl whinched remembering how her father used to beat her. She shakily stood up and walked a few paces so she was behind a building. "You're all I have,"the girl whispered to the bottle cap. Looking up at the frosty sky she plead,"God, help me. I'm hanging by a thread...Life isn't safe for me anymore..."she lowered her head, she wanted to believe he was real but pain made her doubt. "I'm not safe..."she closed her eyes for the last time and felt warmth instead of bitterness.
"Come,"a gentle voice whispered.
The girl opened her eyes to see a man that made you want to fly.
"Come,"he repeated with open arms.
The girl stood up feeling like she had to cry but no tears came. She raced over to the man and hugged him.
"I know you're in pain,"the man looked down at her with gentle eyes,"No more."
Immeaditatly she knew this man. His name was Jesus. "Why...why did you bring me here?"
"Every human is made for a purpose, and you've done yours."
"Die?"
He chuckled softly. "No...that's my part to choose, along with God's. You've done many things. When you were young you made lives better by making people smile."
"Why did you let them beat me?" The girl bumpped in.
Jesus gently pet the girl's head. "Those who abused you will get repaid with their same actions. If they're my followers then they come to me in a diaper and have a rattle in their hands. It was never your fault. They will be punished."
With those words the girl knew life was made to see if people would obey. Jesus came to earth and showed us how to live but we ignored the truth and did as we pleased. God didn't hate us but he didn't let those who did wrong go unpunished. We were there for a purpose...we just have to find it...

A powerful and sad story. The world can be hard. Many of us asked God for reason for the suffering and pain in our world? I like the story.

A interesting story. I hope Jesus will have open arms for the many who only knew pain and suffering. I hope to read more. A story to open doors to thoughts.. Thank you for the excellent story.
