War of Robotic Entities

War of Robotic Entities

A Poem by Joshua Hood
"

This is a metaphorical piece of coarse.. u can also of coarse get whatever you want out of it. also this is the first piece I've posted in a very long time so i hope that yall like it!

"
soul burning
remote control plugged in
battle, trenches dug in
raindrops got circuits frying
hearing screams but nobodies dying
no sinning leads em straight to Zion

thoughts of peace, behind iron minds
but he's flesh programmed, so its war-time

he's cold, steel
strapped up, but still
can't escape the fear
could barely even hear
but understood his orders clear
letters to family begin with dear
I'm coming home, make sure your not near
before he pressed the button, shed one greasy tear

thoughts of peace, behind iron minds
but he's flesh programmed, so its war-time

Oh... my goodness. So powerful and heartbreaking!
"but he's flesh programmed, so its war-time" ... damn, you for sure got me with that line. This is a wonderful piece of work! You really know how to spin a tale beautifully.
