Her Despair

Her Despair

A Poem by J.Truth

"Her Despair"

Shattered her heart,
Broke her trust.
Gave her pain,
and now she's in vain.

Her face shows despair
Her life is unfair
Cuts are marked on the arms,
Bruises embedded on the legs.

She puts on a brave mask,
but her appearance doesn't fool.
All she wanted was to fit in;
but didn't think it would ruin her skin.

Though she accepted this fault-
this fault that had her constantly weep.
Labeled EMO was part of her choice,
making it hard for her not to send plees..
