I saw your gaze,

Connecting with mine,

This feeling washed over me,

Like a flood on a rainy day,

My heart was pounding,

Like drums in a beat,

I knew I had to know you,

I never knew true addiction,

Until I met you,

The more I knew,

The more I fell in love,

The feeling I get when I am with you,

It’s like I am on cloud 9, 

You are truely my apple to my pie,

I never doubted that you are the one for me,

My dear fiancé,

And husband to be,

I can’t deny that you are soulmate of my dreams,

I love you more then you’ll ever know.

This is sweet! I don't normally go for feel-good poetry, bu this one made me smile. I have to say the bit about apple pie is corny, but I love if. Love is corny sometimes. We have all these deep passionate and sometimes silly emotions that wrap together. They don't necessarily have to be isolated from each other.
The only critique I have is that a particularly line read awkwardly. "I can’t deny that you are soulmate of my dreams," It feels like words are missing.
