Forgiven (Foolish Heart Part 3)

Forgiven (Foolish Heart Part 3)

A Poem by Pikachu
"

A returning discovery

"

Days later...

After surviving the twisting sands

and the darkness of the maze,

the confused world of my throbbing heart.

I find myself in a familiar place,

a hill a overlooking a lake.

In the shadows of a familiar view,

a figure appeared and she came up close to me.

I recognized her from a distance,

I recognized that face, that smile those eyes...

Those all too familiar eyes,

the ones that looked down at me in my agony...

The memories returned,

oh the painful memories.

The eyes shot through my chest once more

and the original wound tore opened...

She came up to me,

head down looking at her feet.

I looked up at the sky and remembered...

I remembered everything...

With sorrow in her heart,

I heard her say the words I never dreamed she would say

"I'm sorry..."

I stand there in shocked with eyes wide opened

I grabbed her hands and said

"You broke my heart and I still care for you

I loved you and i gave you my heart and soul

but you threw it away so its not yours anymore."

I held her tight once more

"I have to find her, I just have to..."

I let her go and started walking towards the sunset

I turn around to look once more...

"You are forgiven..."

I turn around to look for her once more

Love it! I like this unique world you create based on the emotions of the narrator, very interesting! I am a fan!

Very good, I like this better than number two. I like the redemption and the sorrow. This was smooth felt more connected to the first. Course I do over analyze at times. Also felt more emotion, true emotion. Good work.

This was so beautiful. It's a story, your foolish heart poems, and i enjoy reading all of them. It was just so beautiful. If you ever write a novel off of this I don't think I'd be able to put it down or step away from my computer. :D

a lovely foray toward self heailng~ and forgiveness of another's err against the heart~beautifully told in a format very close to the style of cautionary fables utilized by elder cultures to teach the young about life and all its pitfalls~ much enjoyed~ thank you
