Tell Me Why

 

As I think about you each and every long day

It seems that no matter what, I just can’t get away

From the reoccurring sorrow of your distant memory

The pain just explodes from deep within me.

 

Tell me why do you keep doing this

Can’t you see why I took the heaviest risk

I wanted to keep you safe from possible pain

Even though I got thrown out in the freezing rain

 

Tell me why it seemed so much like love

Ready to spread its wings and fly like a hopeful white dove

Your love to me meant the world and everything

Yet now to you, my love just seems like nothing

 

Tell me why I should even care anymore

Why should I even walk back to your now closed door

Why should I stay with my caring intention

When all that I feel is just throbbing cold rejection.

no asked my opinioun but as always I'm putting my two cents in
often people are unable to tell the differnce between false and true love but more often then not what you belive to be is false is true and what you think is true is an illusion but but more often then not it is one of loves trills

I love this, and as I read your other stuff I'm getting a good sense of your style, which is very nice- somewhat straightforward, but still complex and thought-provoking.
As for the poem specifically, great message and very emotional- i can really feel the pain and bitterness. The only thing is that the rhyme scheme is a little off, and in a few places there are a few words kind of mashed together
But other than that, great!
