Tip of the IceburgA Poem by Aislinn Gryffin ((Ashes))You think you see her right beside you but she is never there. She sits on a planet up high in the velvet sky. You think you see her smiling wide but it never is actually there. That smile is just a mask she wears to hide what she really feels. You think she's just a little slow whenever she reacts. But really she just mimics you and everyone she sees. You think she's just another girl but she isn't and never will be. Life is all so clear to you, but it's a labyrinth to her. You think she understands but she really never has. All those you that you ignore and you think are fine. But it's only the tip of the iceburg that's coming on quite rapidly. © 2010 Aislinn Gryffin ((Ashes))Author's Note
