See the girl walking over there...

The way she hides her face behind her hair.

See the way she talks to the guys,

It's hard for her to look them in the eyes...

 

 

Too many times she's been in pain,

 

And she can't ever be completely normal again.

Her friends don't know about that day,

They only know that time she pushed them away.

She rarely smiled and hardly spoke,

Everytime she tried she'd start to choke.

She didn't know what she did wrong,

Or if God just hated her all along.

Her dad's hand made contact with her face,

But today that was not the case.

Something even worse had occurred,

That day her answer of "no" was unheard.

She said no and that she didn't want to stay,

But that boy didn't care what she had to say.

He kept trying to talk her into it,

Though she really didn't want to do that s**t.

But he wouldn't let her go until she did,

So from then on from men she hid.

 

Thanks to him and thanks to her dad,

She'll never again have that trust she once had.
