Roses

Roses

A Poem by Aislinn Gryffin ((Ashes))

Roses.

Red for love,

White for purity,

But no matter what color,

A rose always dies.

Does that mean that

love...

and purity...

Always die too?

Roses regrow.

And a love comparable to a rose, is a flighty, false love. Love should be brown, absorbant, nutrient rich, and generously watered like the source of spawning roses.

Love should be soil.
