One Day

One Day

A Poem by Horse of a Different Color
"

Written at a training center next to a golf course, while looking out my window.

"
The gentile glow of oranges and blues,
A colorful mixture from the brisk mornings in fall.
A picturesque scene on the fourth tee,
With a jogging horse on a morning workout.
A kind of loud silence that makes a deafening roar,
Slowly the noise and day start to pick up.
The tee box begins to see action,
Golfers play through while the horses move along.
No disturbance of the days tasks,
With the horses fed and sun beginning to set.
It is time to rest with a repeat in store for tomorrow,
Good Morning, Good Afternoon, and Good Night.
