A noisy quiet giant

A noisy quiet giant

A Poem by Horse of a Different Color
"

An hour at dusk on the cliffs.

"
A gentile giant slowly turns and churns to life,
Two gulls of the sea sit perched to watch the show.
Water is almost all the eye can see,
A tug boat slowly slips past.
Two more gulls of the sea settle in to witness a natural wonder,
As the sky turns from a pale powder blue into a clear night sky.
The clouds become painted by the rays of the fading sun,
Eye catching colors painted by Mother Nature.
The giant turns volatile and very angry!
Pounding the rocks with a violent force,
Creating small pools and waterfalls.
The quiet noise surrounding these cliffs is soothing.
