GatewaysA Poem by TraverseTheSeaI looked at her through eyes like highways no man could navigate twice.
Newly paved roads I see layered over cracked concrete. A broken bridge is nigh. Night is her light even though her pupils neglect the resonant colors of the Earth. Her aura is an atmosphere I long to breathe in. Her energy like clouds in the form of hands grasping mine as I float forward. This could be peace or war. © 2010 TraverseTheSeaReviews
