The Serenading Season

The Serenading Season

A Poem by TraverseTheSea
"

Daydreaming

"
Seeing your eyes
is like a surprise
everytime you open them up.
Blue like tidal waves.
Green like leaves that fade
into Brown like shades of autumn.
We will get to the bottom of this feeling, even if it kills us.
you'll still be my mistress
til the lips of fate have kissed us

So hold on to me.
I can feel your energy
pulsating from the tips of your fingers
as my thoughts get deeper
beyond the mind of most men.
You provoke feelings of love
my hands have grown to understand.
The act of letting go will be my very last plan.
Even if the skies I wonder on would smite me where I stand.

I must be dreaming...

I like the feel and emotion of this poem. The first set of lines brought me to a good place. "Blue like tidal waves." The second paragraph told of appreciation and gratitude. A very good ending to a beautiful poem of love and hope. A outstanding poem.
