Chemistry Without Knowing

Chemistry Without Knowing

A Poem by TraverseTheSea
"

Wrote this in 2008 when a friend explained to me how i might have chemistry with someone without realizing it.

"
It's Chemistry without knowing.
It's something thats growing
between you and I.
Just look to the sky
for an answer with prayer
just know I'll be there.
Everything is okay
let me show you the way.

When I look into your eyes I see more than color.
I see myself underwater,
free from anxiety
when your arms are around me.
I'm sinking slowly with a smile on my face
cause it's a familiar place
we go to not not worry.

It's Chemistry without knowing.
It's something thats growing between you and I.
And while you look to the sky
for an answer with prayer.
I'm already there.
It'll all be okay
let me show you the way.

When your hanging onto the ledge with the last of your strength,
your fingers slipping one by one,
know that I'll be there to catch you before you fall and carry you home.
Your tears will be wiped away from your beautiful face
and you will know that in my heart is where you'll be safe.

There's no way we can explain this feeling
of being lifted to the ceiling
when we lock eyes...

except its chemistry without knowing.
It's something thats growing between you and I.

A very good poem. When something is good. Things seem to move faster. Chemistry and timing is needed for us to find happiness. I like the description and the story. A very good ending to a excellent poem.
