Obscura Vision

Obscura Vision

A Poem by Tristan
"

This is an old work. Three years, to be exact.

"
The sun glares into my eyes
when in all honesty the clouds are hiding
its view from me, like you hide your lies
from me.
When will I wake up to see the truth,
to realise it is hopeless, you never
wanted me, you aloof---
You dragged me along like a toy, led
me up the stairs whispering to
me in your childish voice that I was a soldier
going up a mountain. Now I just wish I was
dead, but know I wouldn't dare kick the chair [away],
hitting hell's lair, just to get to you.
I'll plague your nightmares and your dreams,
until the day I have the courage to break you like you
tore me apart.

Last line - broke me.

Welcome nice to see a fellow Brit, love the depth of emotion in this piece especially kick the chair away visions of hanging hung all around these words. It's painful when a heart is broken to such extent as death becomes an option in order to get revenge.

Keep em' coming
