Dreams

Dreams

A Poem by Tripp

Pink paper flowers fall upon my feet,

And the aroma that they send is oh so sweet.

Laying on the ground, Staring at the clouds,

Closing my eyes and laying still, Not making a sound.

All I see is your face, Smiling down at me,

Opening my eyes and your face is the one I hope to see.

Darkness then surrounds me as I look around,

Tightly gripping my blanket and to the bed tightly bound.

The night fall has not left here, Gently whispering my name,

Gently singing a lullaby along with the falling rain.

Drifting off to sleep again, Off into my dreams,

To see your face until I wake from the mornings beams.

Poem is beautiful. I like the kind feel and sweet emotion in your words. The description and detail was very good. A perfect ending to a excellent poem.
