The Mini Ice Age

I wrote this in middle school for English while we were learning about the plague and what not and changed it up a bit and turned it in. I just found it and reread it, Laughing! So, I hope you enjoy:D

In 1503 Europe suffered a disaster,

The summer slipped away so much faster.

The weather grew colder,

Rivers froze over.

The harvest was ruined and then animals died,

So how did the people stay alive?

 

The cold famine would have killed them,

But they survived by EATING THEIR CHILDREN!

Imagine if this had happened to you,

Would you taste better boiled, Or stewed?

Parents in the Middle Ages were barbarians,

Thank God these days their vegetarians!
