A Journey's Path

A poem I wrote a while back. I am thinking making it the title poem or a photo/poetry book I am putting together.

~A Journey’s Path~

 

The Rage and Fury,

Pulling everything under in its violent currents,

Turbulent chaos takes hold,

Beyond the dark mirror,

Creating a murky world of its own.

~

I set paralyzed by the pure power and beauty

There in the moon light,

Behind shadow casted clouds,

I listen and I feel,

An ominous presence there.

~

Bound by its strength...

Bound by its force...

Within my inner world,

The world of my soul,

Turbulent emotions,

Pervade my being,

A black angel,

I can not get free.

~

My own fears come to life,

Like submerged nightmares,

In the form of questions,

How many times will life drag me under?

Like a leaf in a raging stream.

What is my Life Journey's Path?

~

I struggle against the chaotic force,

Trying to find peace within,

From there I hear powerful voice,

Calling to me by my secret name.

~

You have never gone under to stay,

Life has always calmed each time,

Your feet finding solid ground,

Reality and truths will not reveal,

Until life's journey is finished at last.

~

- This I know-

Struggles are our way to grow,

Into our Warrior Spirit.

I Growl and Roar!

With the raging turbulent water,

~ My Warrior Spirit calling out on its Journey's Path! ~

Author's Note

How would you categories this? I places it under the supernatural and occult, but it really is more spiritual. However, the categories list did not have spiritual listed. So, how would you list this poem?

I think spiritual definitely fits this poem. It gave me chills reading it. I would say probably supernatural and occult though since spiritual isn't an option.
