Dreaming Meadows

Dreaming Meadows

A Poem by TrimarcoRansome
"

My inspiration comes from two sources, people and nature, this a mix of the both, make of it what you will!

"

Azure skies dance against vermilion leaves

Hillside leas afloat the gentle breeze

Where gilded ears of plenty swoon

Patchwork hedgerows glisten on dew

Welling abundance born anew

Flitting passions a blurring hue

Willows sway wistful caressing its dawn

Meandering waters in rainbows spawn

Phallic rushes defend the virile door

Suckling its rhizome to her bosom once more

Harmony of melodies from regal bowers

Wooded scapes casting aubade shadows

Deeply boring natures subterranean hallows

What a classic feel this has to it. For me I take it as a nature piece. And in that it fulfills a need. It feels like I did last week sitting on the eternal beach looking out on all the timeless sea. Thinking on my own mortality.
