The RideA Poem by Trikius...In death comes the peace that life could not grant Like a soft autumn rain soothing the pains of our past The fire has dimed and the glow long forgot But the smoke carries on where the fire can not
This life feels like water flowing fast through my hands As soon as it's caught it slips through again It dauntingly puzzles me as to which fate is mine And tears out my heart leaving scars made by time
What will await me when passing from this life A place made of evil or a sky filled with light What if nothing exits and gods never found Our we just another piece of earth going back in the ground
What of our loved ones will they forever be gone Or does anything truly die if in our heart it lives on I suppose we'll never know, death has its mysteries to hide But I'm sure when we find out, it will have been a hell of a ride
