World of Pages

A Poem by K.A. Wood

Fluttering from the bookshelves

Falling to the floor

Pick one up

Open a door

Pages holding thoughts

Inked in black memory

Waiting to be read

Fingers hold the key

Spines bound with stories

Words from the mind

Eyes scanning dark print

Worlds to find

Record of a person

Author’s personality

Full of imagination

A book yearns to be free

About
I've been writing since I was little and have loved writing. It's how I've always been able to express myself, how I let the craziness of imagination out. I prefer to write poetry but on occasion I ha.. more..
