Immortal Mystery

Immortal Mystery

A Poem by K.A. Wood

Purple whispers of yesterday

devour the shadow of beautiful mystery.

But life and death age with solitude,

neither a kiss nor a tear can fathom the enemy.

Blood between darkness is justice,

momentary emotion is velvet love,

naked whispers blind the future.

A ghost of eternity

dangerous beyond the grave.

Forever existing within dreams of mortals,

repulsive visions of the gods,

smoky mist clouds legends of valor.

Void where poison mirrors philosophy,

remember time whispers of death.

This is definitely one of my more outlandish pieces so I'd absolutely love to see what your interpretations are.

About
I've been writing since I was little and have loved writing. It's how I've always been able to express myself, how I let the craziness of imagination out. I prefer to write poetry but on occasion I ha.. more..
