Sleeper's Void

Sleeper's Void

A Poem by K.A. Wood

Black night stretching

out upon the solitude

of Death’s realm.

Icy voices and frozen

moonlit dreams hang

between human touch

and sleep. Polished

stars sing songs of

tomorrow, the sound

of howling wind

playing accompaniment.

Only the brave dare

come to this yawning

void of the unknown

drifting mystery.

There is no description to this poem because I don't believe in telling the reader what my works are about. I'd rather have them tell me what they interpret when they read. So please, share with me your thoughts. I do rather enjoy them.

About
