Baked owl with absinth infusion

Baked owl with absinth infusion

A Poem by Tricessimus
"

A simple recipe which results in a bitter sweet patina of flavor

"
Baked owl with absinth infusion
Ingredients:
3 cups Tears from mourning the death of a child
2 tbsp Madness from the wild
4 tsp Mild dreams that have been crushed
1 qt Rushed hopes that have been filed away
12 oz. Rays of play which may dismay
300 Days from which the marrow has been sucked
1 owl - plucked

Directions:
Stay up all night crying, trying while dieing or wish you were dead -with dread breaking in your head. Hallucinate then facilitate the madness. Address the mess you have become then deny or lie before you ask why. Get blind drunk on absinth and chuck a plucked owl into the oven.

a Hoot owl?
or just a not very wise one?
You are a very clever and entertaining writer, Tricessimus.

That must have been a total package experience. Wondering if they used to serve this at the tavern. Thanks for sharing.

what a creative and we'll crafted piece
of poetry....sad ingredients in this
recipe of real life, some of which
I'm sure most of us can relate, however;
think I'll pass on the absinth and
plucked owl; .....NICE WORK!!

WOW! This is originality at its finest. I have NEVER seen anyone do anything like this before & it's a brilliant execution of it. I am so damn jealous, I want to try to come up with a similar approach to twist something we all take for granted as being one particular way, like a recipe. I admire writers who can twist our reading expectations into a silly pile of rubbish (((HUGS)))
