Are We Really Alone?

This is the first poem I wrote years ago

Have you ever felt like you were never alone and someone was watching you even when when you were all alone? Well, maybe it’s a ghost in your house, maybe it’s your guardian angel, maybe it’s a man outside your window waiting for the right time to break into your house and take everything you ever had, or maybe it’s the thing under your bed waiting for you to look under there so it can kill you. So make sure you lock your house up, thank your angel for looking out for you, leave a light on so the ghost will stay away, and never look under your bed if you want to stay alive.
