For Her

For Her

A Poem by Trevor Mustatia
"

something I thought up

"
In all my life I have never seen such grace
Her hair flows like an oceans great tide
I would do anything to muster the pride
To tell her about the splendor of her face

And when she dresses up in the finest lace
I swear I could not have lied
For if I did I would need to confide
If I didnt I would be a disgrace

And of all the thoughts of her inside my head
The one that stands out the most
Is her beauty is that of a goddess

When I try to talk to her my lips turn to lead
This passage is not meant as a boast
For in fact I am being very modest

If you prefer negative ones, I must simply not be the right one to read this.
As it seems, though, I have.
Therefore, I will, in fact, review it and you will grow keen to what I say.
The depth of your words go farther than just the surface with me.
They touch my soul.
Well written.
I feel the anguish of which you can not speak to your goddess.
You portray this emotion well.
Divine.
