Time Our MasterA Poem by CrashDavis47
Suffering ailments and other afflictions. Never more beautiful than on the present day. But ever so slowly skin pales and hair will grey. Time is our enemy but also our friend. Giving us life but requiring our end. For this reason live life to the fullest. Study the beauty in lifes every flaw. There are no second chances,no room for error. From blistering heat to bone chilling Cold. Forever and always time is our master. For we are mere mortals whalst time is eternal. |

Your best write by far.
Great flow of not only sentences and stanzas, but thoughts and idea order. I liked your advice and your word choice, the simple truth and wisdom painted here. -Ashes 100/100 Posted 13 Years Ago |
ok, i personally think this has been your best write, poem wise haha. it has more length then the last two poems of yours i read. the subject is so true, and yet, really unique and inspiring. and the whole thing flows well without getting that cheesy feeling of too many rhyming words.
best of yours! -marissa Posted 13 Years Ago |
This is a very good read I think you have carried it off beautifully. At the end you say that time is our master because it is eternal and we are not, I think though that it doesn't have to be our master- we don't have to let it. It seems as though this is what you were getting at anyway:) Lovely work it is very thought inspiring!

Very true. I often feel as if life has slipped from my grasp and I wish I could go back. This can make time our master. You made a very good point.
Good job. Posted 13 Years Ago |
This is a beautiful way of wrapping the concept of time and how it effects us with your words. I really enjoyed how some of the stanzas rhymed, while others didn't. That allowed for the energy of the ink to take on a variety of power in different areas. Great Write!
