The Dishonest Truth

The Dishonest Truth

A Poem by CrashDavis47

Counterfeit faces in illusionary spaces

The dishonest truth keeping the dark at bay

A Scream within my mind

night and day

wrongness in each action

Growing dread and despair

My doubt securely fastened

Elaborate lies disguised in simplicity

Cloaked in half-truths and shadows

The light may shine upon them

But will we see?

Or blind our selves
