unspoken closure

unspoken closure

A Story by t
"

from the new me to the old you

"
You don't know me, but you will soon.

I came back to caution you, but I can't stay.

I will play a vital role in your life, and you in mine.

You will provide a necessary life vest to keep me afloat.

I will provide much needed support in your journey.

We will grow accustomed to each other's presence.

These will prove to be the our good days.

Time will fly.

--

But we won't foster it.

Voices will surround us in a whirlwind of control.

You'll be who they want you to be. I'll be who they want me to be.

You will hand over a burden of responsibility for me to shoulder.

Your investment in my life will prove to be a hoax.

Your presence solely reliant on my actions for you.

The gullibility of my eagerness will sink us all.

Time will slow.

--

We will become encumbered by each other's presence.

Care will diminish to make way for words never spoken.

Loyalty questioned under the withdrawal of reliability.

Respect smothered under the weight of uncertainty.

Acknowledgement taken by the influence of manipulation.

Time will stop.

--

I tell you where I came from, so that I can tell you where I've gone.

--

I'm happy now.

I'm strong now.

I'm in love now.

I'm at peace now.

Time has restarted.

--

My struggle is over.

But yours has just begun.

About
I am anywhere, I am nowhere; I am silent, hear me roar; I am invisible, see me shine; I am tormented, until I heal; I am awake, until I dream; I am irrelevant, until I speak. more..
