The Plea of Judas. / The Thirteen Haikus of True Love.

The Plea of Judas. / The Thirteen Haikus of True Love.

A Poem by Tremetol
"

A few Haiku that I wrote at one to three in the morning. Thanks for reading!

"

In an ocean red.

Life is forced from the seabed.

In a world of dread.

Sinners weep with joy.

For their newly crafted toys.

Deprived of a choice.

Wings of butterflies.

To find illusions of peace.

Decide that I lie.

Is there freedom here?

The muck choking out your tears?

Look past the mirror.

Context, clarity?

Creation? Sin? Blasphemy?

Divine tragedy.

Twisting malady!

Dispelling sagacity!

Forceful, maddening!

Justification?

Of the sanctified nation?

The humanity!

Conform or expire.

Comfort seekers claim holy.

Chained matrimony.

Set upon with whips.

Deemed us unworthy of “it”.

Yet we are the spent?

Undefinable.

Only mentioned as sublime…

An unyielding love.

Solely taught to take.

They could not fathom real strength.

Left us here debased.

Dreaming sourly.

Is it butterfly pea tea?

Turning toxic? Taste.

One day we will wake.

To wings of chaos, we made.

A warmer embrace.

Author's Note

Tremetol
My objective here was not to just write haikus, although, its always fun. I'd appreciate it if you let me know what first came to your mind when reading. Some of these could be read on their own but obviously some make more sense when accounting for the others, which is not really in the spirit of haikus, but I do as I please.
