Defined: Abduction

Defined: Abduction

A Poem by Trekkie

abduction n. A carrying away of a person against his will, or illegally.

you are
alone
and this is all you know
the blackness of your soul
and the scent of betrayed messengers
in the air

alone
and this will be
what you remember
long ago
ancient totality
idiosyncrasies of mentality
remembrances of  __
fate

alone
among
above
cresting waves and laughing silence
(and this is where it ends)
and you came here to start again
but remember;
it never quite works

it never quite makes it
it never
quite
is anything
but alone

and this is where it ended
(remember?)

About
I'm a convoluted trekkie who spends too much time procrastinating. I can see the Northern Lights from my house in the winter and I've memorized startlingly large portions of King Henry IV, part one. more..
