DaydreamA Poem by Dante Thomas
The clouds seem to cry
As I look across the blackened sky. I hear the lightning and thunder play in harmony like a marching band The sound is deafening from where I stand. A ray of light shines through the blackened clouds But is quickly covered with a misty shroud Rain starts falling like blood from open wounds In the distance a tempest looms I am stuck at home on this rainy day I wish there was more to say Except The thunder and clouds in my head will not go away © 2017 Dante ThomasReviews
