Not for the better

Not for the better

A Poem by Tree Bark

The very sky i stand under,
Once filled with life but now rolling thunder,
Now lightning rips my world asunder,
This very sky i stand under,
The very tree i lay my hand,
Once strong and mighty but now weaker than sand,
Now lay broken upon the land,
This very tree i lay my hand
The very field in witch i lay,
Once filled with life but now dark and gray,
Now leaves my hope to decay,
This very field in which i lay,
The very hand in witch i hold,
Once warm and inviting but now dreadfully cold,
Now my life it has controlled,
This very hand in witch i hold,
