I Know All your Secrets

I Know All your Secrets

A Poem by Tree Bark
"

gugh

"
I am your gentle guardian
The one who sees you cry
The one who hears you plead for joy
The one who feels your pain
The one who knows you wish for a smile
The one who believes you are telling the truth
The one who understands your pain
The one who softly weeps next to you
The one who quietly slips a hand into yours
The one who gets the same broken heart as you
The one who wears the same mask as yours
I am your everlasting Shadow
The Shadow who knows all your secrets

that was i was hoping for because i hear people say "no one knows how i feel" because everyone gets hurt differently. but your shadow knows more than your own friends.

It has sort of a chilling yet comfortable quality to it. I sort of had this feeling like, "Maybe i'm not alone in the world", and the most effective line was "The one who gets the same broken heart as you." Sometimes people who are there for us understand and care about us, but no one has the SAME broken heart that we do. Except maybe the shadow that knows us better than anyone.
