A Poem by Blotter

You purple temptress,

                I love you.

Sometimes you are orange...

 othertimes red.

  I have loved one you

since I had strength enough

  to wring your silly neck.

 You have never been

a beauty for all men,

 but beauty enough for me

  (though my standards be low).

Yet,

 (without appology or explanation)

I will always toss you aside,

  for another so gayly colored.

I drink of you,

I satisfy myself at your expense.

I know you are naughty,

    but I keep coming back.

I have destroyed your family in droves,

still you laugh and offer me more.

Come back to me...

we will start all over again...

...draining.
